A
smaller version of the
famous "The Advent Loudspeaker" speakers,
the Advent 1's. They utilize the same 9.5" woofer and "Fried Egg"
tweeter as the full size "Loudspeakers". Similar sound in a smaller box. Still
sounds as good today as it did then and these are no exception. If you
are a fan of AR
2ax's
from that period, and most folks are, you will love the detail,
definition and bass response of these speakers. Very accurate!!!

Utility-box versions. This pair has a few "battle scars" but nothing too
distracting (see lower set of photos). Original "burlap" linen grills
still in good shape as are the grill frames.
Minor, typical snags, but none of the typical water staining.
Woofers have
just
had
fresh & complete re-foamed surrounds for years of trouble free
service. Tweeters also look and sound great! These are among the best
sounding of the vintage speaker models you will
hear!
Definitely one of the classic "New England" speakers.
